Wonya Lucas
Corporate Strategist, Corporate Board Director and Former CEO
Wonya is currently focused on community advancement and corporate boards. She is the former President/CEO of Hallmark Media including the Hallmark Channel where she is largely credited with expanding and diversifying the storytelling.
Prior to joining Hallmark, Lucas was President and CEO of Public Broadcasting Atlanta, where she oversaw Atlanta’s NPR and PBS stations. Previously, Lucas was President/CEO for TV One, Global CMO of Discovery Communications, various senior leadership roles at The Weather Channel and weather.com, GM/EVP of The Weather Channel and other roles including EVP corporate strategy and development, programming, talent and strategic marketing The Weather Channel, Weather Channel radio and weather.com. Lucas held senior strategy and marketing leadership positions at CNN Worldwide, Turner Entertainment networks and TNT. Her other experience includes brand management roles for The Coca-Cola Company and The Clorox Company. Lucas began her career as a Product Engineer for Westinghouse.
Lucas currently serves on the following professional and community boards: Sundance Institute, Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, Georgia Tech Foundation, Carter Center Board of Counselors, and the Children’s Museum of Atlanta.
She also serves as a corporate board member for Comcast Corporation, The Atlanta Braves Holding Company, Inspire Brands and previously Hallmark Media, EW Scripps, and JCP, NPR.
Lucas received an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and BS Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
She’s the proud mom of two daughters, Sydney Kirton and Columbia Business School alumna, Alexis Kirton.
Chip Wade
CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group
As Chief Executive Officer of Union Square Hospitality Group, Chip is responsible for further enhancing and evolving the company’s culture, driving an even greater experience for guests, and bolstering the excellence and growth of its businesses. Chip joined the USHG Executive team as President, in 2019, following a rich 30-year career in operational leadership in the hospitality industry. In 2022, he was named Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining USHG, Chip spent 17 years in leadership with Darden Restaurants, where he oversaw all operating functions, drove best-in-industry people metrics, and enhanced financial performance for a number of Darden’s high-growth brands.
He also served as Chief Operating Offer for Legal Sea Foods in Boston, Massachusetts, in which capacity he led all operations for the family-owned group’s 31 restaurants, and oversaw the launch of the Legal Test Kitchen concept. Earlier in his career, Chip worked in development and human resources for Carlson Restaurants Worldwide.
A Pennsylvania native, Chip got his culinary degree from Johnson & Wales College, his B.S. from Widener University, and his M.B.A. from The University of Texas, Dallas. In addition to his professional experience, Chip also serves on the following boards: Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, inc., Johnson & Wales University, and Share Our Strength. He is also a senior advisor for Junzi Kitchen, a Chinese fast-casual restaurant and concept based in New York.
Sabrina Hannam
Boardswell, Chairman of the Board
Sabrina Hannam’s career is anything but ordinary. She is a high-octane executive and award-winning thought leader who considers herself fortunate to have advised some of the world’s brightest minds in the financial, sports, and technology industries. Her advice and business strategies are regarded as the stamp of excellence in business transformation today. As Investor and Chief Corporate Development Officer at Pacaso, a technology startup with unicorn status, she created the ESG that green-lighted $125 million in Series C financing from SoftBank Vision Fund 2. Sabrina’s expertise in mergers and acquisitions, IPO preparation, divestitures, and spin-offs has proven invaluable in her role as advisor to Pacaso’s board of directors and her Chairman of the Board role at Boardswell. As Boardswell’s CEO, she delivers double-digit growth, propelling her “Match” app for boards venture to #1 in this market space.
Prior to these roles, Sabrina advised the Chairman of the Board of Barclays Center—an 80% stakeholder in the Brooklyn Nets—on the feasibility and revenue potential of a separate sports and entertainment company after he exited his role as Barclays’ Chairman. Sabrina’s career spans 20+ years working in multiple verticals worldwide, from Europe to the United States. She is credited with taking 5 private companies public and leading the second-largest IPO in U.S. history, a $3.2B endeavor. Sabrina began her career as a corporate attorney and board advisor for major New York law firms including Arnold Porter Kaye Scholer LLP. Her razor-sharp business instincts and international bandwidth were invaluable resources for her corporate clients in heavily regulated industries. A well-respected thought leader, Sabrina travels the U.S. as an invited speaker and lecturer. She currently serves as lecturer in corporate finance at Columbia University Graduate School of Professional Studies and a guest lecturer to MBA students at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Sabrina earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and was a Juris Doctorate candidate at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. A consummate learner, Sabrina continued her professional development at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, earning a certificate in business and public policy. She keeps a finger on the pulse of several industries, harnessing the power of new and exciting technologies to power growth in the fintech industry. Sabrina is a passionate social advocate who believes we can put an end to war and suffering by coming together and spreading a message of peace and unity. To that end, she is a key player in the “Presence for Peace” international movement that calls world leaders including Dominican Ambassador to UNESCO to come together and work toward building a more peaceful and sustainable tomorrow.
Andrea Henderson

Andrea serves as Partner in the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Diversity, Nonprofit and Board & CEO
Practice Groups, in DHR Global’s New York office. Prior to joining DHR, Andrea served as Director, Partner
Solutions & Executive Search at a career acceleration and talent-sourcing platform for
underrepresented healthcare and life sciences leaders. Before that, Andrea worked in impactful roles
for various healthcare and life science organizations including, Genentech, Novartis and Pfizer.
With a passion for growing and sustaining strong organizations, Andrea has developed a niche helping private equity- and venture-backed companies scale using innovative executive talent strategies. She is a member of the Astia community where she serves as a start-up company Advisor
leveraging over 20 years of experience identifying and cultivating diverse talent for executive-level and board of director roles. She served as Chair of the Membership Committee for the Atlanta chapter of the Private Directors Association and is certified in Private Company Board Governance.
She has served on the Board of the African American Alumni Association of Columbia Business School and the Ivy Foundation of Suffolk-Nassau Counties. She has spoken at the Thurgood Marshall
Foundation Leadership Summit, has consulted with NYU Stern’s MBA Career Services and has been
profiled in the book, Ambition is Not a Dirty Word by business psychologist, Dr. Debra Condren. Andrea obtained a bachelor’s degree from Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, a master’s degree in international relations from Clark Atlanta University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School.
