Abbi Robinson-Hobson

Sports and Entertainment Executive

Abitzel (Abbi) Robinson-Hobson leads with over 25 years of experience in strategy, business operations, and financial management focused on sports, film, television, media, marketing, branding, venture capital, and nonprofit/impact businesses. Abbi has been integral and led multi-billion-dollar partnership, content, and digital deals and initiatives with ATP Tour, Rock The Bells with actor/rapper LL Cool J, Showtime Networks, the National Basketball Association, American Express’ Global Advertising and Brand Management; she’s led Finance and Operations at impact businesses Getting Out and Staying Out and the Council for Economic Education. In her early career, Abbi managed the accounting and finance structure for 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks owned by Filmmaker Spike Lee and held accounting and auditing roles at global firms PriceWaterhouseCoopers and EisnerAmper where she provided professional services for fortune 100 companies Viacom, Inter Public Group, and General Electric. Abbi’s experience and knowledge drives her to be intentional when it comes to company growth, infrastructure, operations, and finance functions; she’s managed $2B budgets, led a $15M Series B funding round, and helped increase revenue by 25% via strategic partnerships and negotiations.

Abbi is the founder and CEO of Everly Business Solutions Group, LLC., a consulting and advisory practice working with companies to provide strategy, operations, finance and accounting services; she’s recently partnered with Arabella Advisors / Kiwi Partners as Lead CFO providing Interim and Fractional CFO services to nonprofit/impact businesses. Abbi earned a certificate of completion from Columbia’s Business School – Senior Leaders Program and an MBA at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, she completed the Global Business Program studying business operations, management, and marketing in Asia and the Middle East. Prior to that, Abbi completed an accelerated and advanced program at Brooklyn College receiving her Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

She serves on the board as Treasurer of Brooklyn’s Bridge Street Development Corporation and as Vice Chair of the Economic Development Committee of Brooklyn’s Community Board 3.

Abbi’s life journey began in Panama before coming to the U.S. as a young child. She has since been rooted in Brooklyn, New York, where she lives with her husband of 19 years in Bedford Stuyvesant - one of Brooklyn’s historic brownstone communities.

Chidozie Ibeabuchi

Vice President of Player Engagement, MLS

Chidozie Ibeabuchi leads the Player Engagement (PE) team at Major League Soccer and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department. Ibeabuchi leads a team responsible for providing holistic resources to supports active and former players on and off the pitch, serving clubs to best support players at the local level, and helping to grow the league. He has been with MLS Player Engagement for over six years, playing a key role in the department’s creation and leading the growth of the PE function across the clubs within the League.

For almost 15 years, Chidozie has worked with professional athletes across various sectors of the sports industry for several major sports leagues including the NBA’s New York Knicks, the NHL’s New York Rangers, the WNBA’s New York Liberty, and the NFL’s league office. Prior to helping to start MLS Player Engagement, Ibeabuchi held several roles on both the business and operational side at the NFL. Most recently, this included working in the Player Engagement department where he accelerated the personal and professional growth of NFL players as they transitioned in and out of the league, focusing on career development, financial and continuing education, and total health and wellness.

Together with his wife, Ibeabuchi is also the Co-Founder of By Any Means Coaching, a financial coaching company whose mission is to educate and empower BIPOC millennials to maximize their income and spend money without guilt or shame.

Ibeabuchi received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration from St. John’s University, an athlete development executive education certificate from UPenn, and his MBA in Strategic Innovation and Business Data & Analytics from the University of Illinois. He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Division of Sport Management at St. John’s University and for the Professional Association of Athlete Development Specialists, the world’s premier non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together sports leaders and organizations who are committed to the holistic development of its athletes.

Originally from Boston, MA, Ibeabuchi currently resides in Orange, NJ with his wife and 5-month-old daughter.

Keiana Martin

On-Air Host, CBS Sports

Keiana Martin currently serves as an on-air talent for CBS Sports, anchoring CBS Sports HQ, hosting Inside College Basketball and Inside College Football on CBS Sports Network, and serving as a sideline reporter for college football and basketball. She also makes recurring guest appearances on CBS Mornings, in addition to hosting various shows on MSG Networks.

Before joining CBS, Martin was a host on MLB Network, regularly contributing to shows like Quick Pitch during the MLB regular season. From 2017 to 2022, she served as the Senior Team Reporter for the San Francisco 49ers.

Throughout her career, Martin has hosted and reported for AOL Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Nuggets, Super Bowl 50 and 53, the College Football National Championship, NBC Sports, and more.

She is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, where—through trial and error—her love of sports merged with a passion for broadcast journalism.
